Just had a listen to one of Chesto’s new releases. Not a mix or a mashup, this is a single track he rolled out June 19th. I have been flat out the last couple of months but I had time to listen to this song and listen I did – over and over again. It’s called Morning Sunrise.

The track begins with a non-intrustive intro that provides a hook and build. The mood suddenly changes and I get a really apparent techhouse vibe. The song has a very pure uniqueness about it, yet it reminds me of so many other awesome tracks – this is what I look for in a good house track. There’s a long break after the intro and the melody jumps in, followed by a rich beat and more building. The track is 7 minutes long but it feels shorter than that when you’re listening to it – a sign of some excellent club material. The single doesn’t miss a beat and the melody is catchy, I will call this his best work to date.

One quirk I had about the track was the constant background white-noise, this may be an encoding issue or it may have been designed for ambiance – it bugs me but it doesn’t bring down the score because it really doesn’t sound like a part of the track.

Overall, a beautifully executed progressive track and I will definitely be holding on for more tracks like this in the future. Remember the name Chesto because I have a very good feeling about this.
